How we deliver a launch-ready Foundation in four weeks

Two entry tracks, Lift & Shift or Design & Build, then component mapping, studio staging and launch. Why the Foundation is launch-ready in Month 1 for £1,000, and why the studio is non-negotiable.

Concrete corridor opening onto a sunset landscape

The most common question we hear is a fair one: how can a launch-ready Foundation take four weeks and £1,000, when a conventional website project often takes months? The answer is not that we cut corners. It is that we removed the parts of the process that never added value to the client.

Where conventional projects lose time

Most builds are assembled by hand. Layouts are redrawn, components are coded from scratch, and decisions wait for the next workshop. Every bespoke piece adds time now and maintenance later.

Two ways in

Every Foundation begins on one of two tracks. Both arrive at the same place: a launch-ready system at the end of Month 1.

  • Lift & Shift, for businesses with a site they are broadly happy with. We analyse and clone the existing site deterministically, down to individual buttons and states, and capture the brand as a documented design system.
  • Design & Build, for new ventures or a full repositioning. A strategic discovery session establishes positioning, messaging and design preferences; we then provide design recommendations asynchronously, so your calendar is not consumed by workshops.

Proven modern components. Zero legacy or AI slop.

Once the design is settled, every element is built from an extensive library of production-grade React components. You are not left with legacy bloat or brittle custom code, and your Foundation is not assembled from unchecked AI output. The functionality of the site is replicated exactly, then rewired. For Lift & Shift, this is also the moment for housekeeping: pages and sitemap entries that no longer earn their place are retired before the rebuild.

Built in the studio

All Foundation systems are built in our Lovable Studio, with every change committed to a version-controlled GitHub repository. Your existing site stays live while the new one is built and checked in a separate environment.

  • A fast, modern front end with a managed cloud database behind it.
  • An admin console as standard, so you can see what is happening across your site and bring your data into one place.
  • Native connectors for common services, so later integrations are configuration rather than custom code.
  • Managed capability packages, such as search and AI visibility or a company brain, deployed as infrastructure as a service in protected environments that we configure and maintain.

Why the studio is non-negotiable

The speed and the price depend on one standard way of building. We do not build on page builders or legacy content systems, because that would return us to hand assembly and the economics would no longer work. Moving the site builder and front end into the studio does not mean losing ownership: the code lives in your repository and the data is yours.

Launch-ready in Month 1. Then two months of real-world use to test, fix, integrate and refine.

Delivering quickly leaves too little time for proper testing on its own, which is why the Foundation is a committed three-month programme. Months 2 and 3 are where bugs are found and fixed, requested changes are made and connectors are wired in, with the evidence to decide what comes next.

Questions

Questions, answered

Do I need to move my website hosting or change DNS?

The site builder and front end move into our studio. Your existing site stays live while the new one is built and checked separately.

What is the difference between Lift & Shift and Design & Build?

Lift & Shift clones and rebuilds your existing site, with a housekeeping tidy-up. Design & Build starts from strategic discovery and asynchronous design recommendations. Both reach launch-ready in Month 1.

Why must the build happen in your studio?

One standard way of building is what makes four weeks and £1,000 possible. The code is committed to a GitHub repository and the data remains yours.
