01

Before

Found-U places finance, accounting and payroll professionals into growing SMEs. Its relationship-led, selective service was already the reason clients returned. The website said none of that. A stock-led template, duplicated messaging and shallow service detail gave a specialist practice the presence of a directory listing, and neither an SME hiring manager nor a finance professional had a journey built around them.

Diagnosis

The challenge wasn’t simply to make the website look better.

The obvious brief was a better-looking website. The judgement made first was commercial: decide what Found-U is actually selling before deciding what to build.

03

Foundation · Build

Positioning

The answer was selectivity: a short, considered shortlist instead of a pile of unsuitable CVs. That single decision set the proposition, the navigation, the content standard and every conversion path that followed.

Foundation

It was to create a digital foundation that better reflected how Dominic and Found-U actually recruit: specialist, personal and accountable, and give the business something we could continue to build on after launch.

Build

A new visual and verbal system carries the selectivity promise across two purpose-built journeys: employers can understand the model and start a brief, candidates can explore relevant roles and see the value of a long-term recruitment relationship. Verified client and candidate testimonial clips replaced generic claims, live vacancies carry useful detail, and an editorial Insights section gives the business something to publish against rather than a blog to fill.

The second candidate to approach Found-U seeking a new placement after the website launch makes contact. Their CV closely matches the requirement Dominic received the previous day.

  4. Match

    The candidate makes the shortlist

Dominic matches the candidate to the role and includes them in the shortlist presented to his client.

  5. Day 7

    Candidate offered the role

Seven-day placement

Website launch to its first candidate-to-client placement:

7 days

The client relationship already existed. The vacancy had arrived independently the day before.

What the new digital foundation did was bring the right candidate into Found-U’s world at almost exactly the right moment.

Dominic’s recruitment expertise did the rest.

That’s what we mean by building capability.

The website wasn’t simply something to look at. It had become part of how the recruitment business worked.

09

Ongoing development

The foundation made the next decisions easier to make: positioning is settled, the content standard is set, and measurement is in place. Later work (content authority, business development systems, candidate and client experience) now start from evidence rather than from a blank page.

I was recommended Chris by a colleague of mine of fifteen years, who spoke incredibly highly of him as a website development consultant. From the moment we met, I warmed to him instantly. He’s engaging, easy to talk to, and genuinely listened to what I needed from my new website build.

What struck me most was the level of service. Chris took the time to really understand me and my business, and it showed in the final product, which turned out better than anything I could have imagined.

I’d strongly recommend Chris for any technology integration or website build. He brings a rare combination of skill, ambition, and genuine value for money.

Questions

Questions, answered

What did Strategic Concierge build for Found-U?

A new digital foundation for the business, taken to launch and then put to work.

Did the website source the placement?

No. The vacancy arrived independently and Dominic’s expertise completed the match. The case study describes what was built, not a guaranteed result.

Could the same approach work for my business?

Book a Discovery Call and we will say plainly whether it is a fit.
